Environmental performance
Solids are an inevitable by-product of hydrocarbon recovery. Their presence, when unmanaged, has an undeniable impact on production rates, well productivity and asset integrity. Adopting a continuous approach to solids management improves field economics and enables optimised production.
Maintain acceptable sand rate
Solids are typically managed by adapting the flow rate through the well. Choking back the flow rate to reduce solids return also reduces production. Extracting the solids and managing them at the surface, ensures optimal production can be achieved. Enhanced by real-time solids data analysis our systems enable wells to flow at a higher rate than the pre-defined Acceptable Sand Rate (ASR), generating additional barrels per day.

Rethinking production
Without a continuous approach to solids management, operations are at a constant risk of solids issues arising, especially fields with highly porous reservoirs. By adopting a solids management system as part of ongoing production, sand is continuously transported out of the wellbore, preventing sand accumulation, ensuring a clean wellbore. This reduces the need for intervention, saves costs and improves ESG reporting.
