FourPhase, the solids and production performance specialist for the oil and gas sector, has announced the appointment of Jim Berndt as EVP Middle East and APAC.

The appointment demonstrates a focus to drive the growth of the company’s solids management and production optimisation solutions globally.

Based in Asia, Berndt will identify opportunities in key markets such as Saudi Arabia, Indonesia and Australia to expand FourPhase’s client base. With an extensive background in global account management at Baker Hughes and Expro, including several APAC projects, Berndt’s expertise lies in relationship building and identifying solutions to solve clients’ challenges.
The appointment follows successful deployments of FourPhase’s automated DualFlow desander technology in Saudi Arabia and a large-scale bulk desander project Malaysia. In both applications, the technology has enabled the operators to safely and cost efficiently optimise production.
